The Annual Report on the Brazilian Energy Balance (BEB), one of EPE's most traditional publications, has a new dynamic and interactive version that allows access, visualization, and download of data from each of the tables throughout the eight chapters and annexes.
Among the features of the dynamic report, the navigation between chapters through the interactive menu stands out, as well as the use of filters to view data in dynamic tables and graphs, and the download of data in matrix format (traditional layout, as presented in the report) and in table format (attribute-by-column layout – tidyverse, more geared towards use in databases and database applications).
The preparation of the annual report in a dynamic version, in addition to preserving the same structure presented in previous reports, allows the visualization of data referring to previous base years. For example, in Annexes IX and X, all consolidated matrices and commercial units data are available since 1970. To access them, simply choose the base year in the section's filter. In addition, the international data also includes filters that allow you to compare the base year of the series with any previous years in the historical series.
