EPE has earned the Public Transparency National Program (PNTP) Gold Seal for active transparency — that is, for making available, on this website, information required by Brazilian legislation, especially the Fiscal Responsibility Law (LRF) and the Access to Information Law (LAI).
This initiative by the Rio de Janeiro State Government has recognized EPE for our consistent practices and evident commitment to guaranteeing gender equity on every level of the organization, creating inclusive, fair and safe spaces for all women.
2024
The SDG Certification Program awards Brazilian organizations that develop important initiatives to satisfy the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda. By publicizing our social and environmental responsibility and corporate governance practices, the Energy Research Office (EPE) has demonstrated alignment with the Good Healh and Well-Being and Quality Education SDGs, with projects such as “EPE Vida” and “ABCDEnergia”.
