EPE releases new edition of the study on Fuel Price Composition in Brazil

The Energy Research Office (EPE) has published a new edition of the study Understanding Fuel Price Composition in Brazil, which includes updated federal and state tax rates as of February 2025 and incorporates recent changes in state taxation on fuels. 

Since the publication's launch in July 2021, EPE has been committed to keeping the material up to date, considering tax changes that impact fuel pricing. 

The document is part of EPE's studies in the Fuel Price in Brazil Study Series, which aims to clarify the composition of fuel prices in Brazil, contributing to a better understanding of the topic by society.
