The Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan (PDE) is one of the most important products prepared by the Energy Research Office (EPE), with the support of teams from the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and in alignment with the guidelines established by that body. The PDE 2035 presents perspectives for the expansion of the energy sector over the next ten years, covering the period from 2026 to 2035, while maintaining an integrated view of the various energy sources.
The multiple studies included in this plan support energy policy decisions, integrating them with other policies adopted in the country, particularly those related to climate change and the energy transition. In an innovative approach, the studies of this plan will initially be published in the form of thematic reports, addressing the different topics included in the PDE 2035. The set of thematic reports, to be released throughout 2025, will constitute the Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan 2035.
