He's graduated in civil engineering (UFJF - Federal University of Juiz de Fora) and has a master degree in water resources and environment (COPPE/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). He's also post-graduated in public management (FGV). Previously, he was Deputy Superintendent for 3 years. He's been responsible for the coordination of the team of experts in charge of the analysis of feasibility studies and projects of various power generation technologies, such as wind, solar, hydro, biomass, natural gas and coal, especially for support of the electricity auctions. He's also been involved in a series of technical studies to support the formulation and implementation of energy policies.

Luis Fernando Priolli is a lawyer, graduated in 1994 from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ, with a specialization in Economics and Business Law from FGV / RJ, in 1999, and Business Management from IBMEC - RJ in 2006. In these 25 years he has worked in the Legal departments of national companies in several sectors, such as Banking, Mining, Retail, Electrical and Communications, having served as Legal Superintendent at LIGHT S / A and as Legal Manager at NET Serviços de Comunicações S/A and Oi S/A. Teacher of Extension courses on Related searches and Energy Law at Candido Mendes University, lectured on "Procedural Issues in the Electric Sector"; "Theft, Fraud and Default in the Electrical Sector" as well as lecturer on "The Management of Outsourcing Contracts to Avoid Responsibilities and Legal Risks"; "New Civil Code"; "Amendments of the New Civil Code in the area of Contracts" and "Electronic Contracts". Since 2016 he works at EPE, as an advisor to the Director of Economic, Energy and Environmental Studies. Brazilian and Italian Citizenship.”
Superintendent of Social-Environment and sustainability
Mrs. Almeida holds a Doctoral Degree in Ecology from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, a Master´s Degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and a Bachelor´s Degree from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
Since she joined EPE, her main contributions involved coordination of several socio-environmental studies required for hydroelectric power plants licensing process; management of workgroups on environmental costs of hydroelectric power plants and transmission lines; Equator Principles and Ecosystem Services applied in energy planning.
In October 2017, Mrs. Almeida was nominated Head of Environment Department. Nowadays she also manages the environmental studies for mid and long-term energy planning and the environmental group activities that subsidize the energy auctions.
She is also a member of the Executive Committee on Governance, Risks, Integrity and Internal Controls of EPE.

Currently, is Head of Energy and Economic Studies in Energy Research Office (EPE), a Public Company linked to Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), being in charge of studies concerning long term energy sector perspectives, energy efficiency, energy demand forecasts, distributed energy resources assessment, electricity and natural gas market analysis as well as Brazilian energy statistics
